Advisory Committee

In March 2014, the General Assembly passed a bill which was signed in to law establishing an Advisory Committee for the Office of the Child Advocate. This committee is comprised of local professionals from various disciplines. Each member is either appointed by the Child Advocate or the professional association they are affiliated with. Each committee member has displayed a commitment to the improvement of the child welfare system. Working to guide and support the Office of the Child Advocate, advising on the complex systemic issues within the child welfare system.
